The Government of the Republic of Molossia is proud to unveil our latest building, the Bank of Molossia. The new Bank building provides a real-world home to the Bank of Molossia which has existed otherwise online since 1999 XXII. With the advent of our new issue of paper money last autumn, there was a new focus on the Bank and its services and the need for a permanent home was quickly evident. Construction began in January 2013 XXXVI and in due course the foundation was laid in an empty space between the President's Office and the Tiki Hut Bar and Grill. Work proceeded rapidly and the building was completed quickly by mid-March. Then came the somewhat lengthy process of equipping the interior, and finally, staffing the Bank. Our new banker is Herman, who ably joins the other steadfast tenants of Red Square, Trader Tom, Ralph the Postal Guy and Fred the Customs Guy. The Bank building itself is a welcome addition to Red Square, already home to the Molossia Post Office, Molossia Trading Company, Customs Shack and the aforementioned Office of the President and Tiki Hut. We all welcome this latest addition and look forward to it serving Molossia well for many years to come.
