The Republic of Molossia is proud to have entered into a new series of
United Nations treaties. Long a signatory to a variety of environmental and
human rights treaties, including the Paris Climate Accord, our government
has recently ratified four UN treaties aimed at weapons disarmament. Among
them are the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling,
Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their Destruction,
the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production,
Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction, the
Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling
of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on their Destruction
and the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. While the subjects of
these conventions and treaties do not have direct impact on our nation, the
Government of the Republic of Molossia nevertheless feels that support of
these accords contributes to a better world overall, one of peace and
humanity. Visit Molossia's Treaty page here. |
